In our continuing tradition of re-publishing living science books we have added The First Book of Sound by David C. Knight. This is intended for Form II (grades 4-6) and explains the principles of sound and the science of acoustics.  The book is full of illustrations that are dated to the 1950s but continue to be relevant to the principles of the subject matter today.  This volume is intended to go along with Nicole Williams’ study guide, Physics–Waves.
